Centro de Estudios de Impacto Futuro (CEIF)
1. Ownership
All content published by the Centro de Estudios de Impacto Futuro (CEIF), including texts, analyses, publications, methodologies, graphic design, source code, names, logos, and trademarks, is the property of CEIF or its associated authors and is protected by Peruvian Legislative Decree 822, the Berne Convention, the TRIPS Agreement, and other applicable regulations depending on the country of access.
2. Open-access publications
CEIF believes in knowledge as a public good. Its applied research publications are therefore distributed under Creative Commons licenses that allow free access, citation, and dissemination.
2.1 White papers and reports — CC BY-NC-ND 4.0
CEIF white papers and reports are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International license.
- You may download and share the documents in their original form.
- You may quote excerpts with attribution to CEIF and the corresponding author.
- You may not modify, translate, or adapt the documents without written authorization.
- You may not use them for commercial purposes or redistribute them without retaining the original copyright notice.
2.2 Perspectives articles — CC BY-NC 4.0
Articles published in CEIF's Perspectives section are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International license.
- You may share, cite, and adapt articles with attribution to the author and CEIF.
- You may translate or summarize them for academic, educational, or informational purposes.
- You may not use them for commercial purposes without authorization.

3. STRIKE Methodology — All rights reserved
The STRIKE methodology (Scope, Track, Reframe, Imagine, Knowledge Challenge, Execute) is an original methodological development of CEIF. Its name, phase architecture, specific tools, training materials, and institutional documentation constitute intellectual property of CEIF and are protected with all rights reserved.
- You may cite the STRIKE methodology with attribution to CEIF in academic publications, articles, and presentations, indicating the source: "STRIKE Methodology, CEIF (ceif.pe/nosotros/strike)".
- Teaching, delivering workshops, or running training programs based on STRIKE without written authorization from CEIF is prohibited.
- Licensing, commercializing, or monetizing the methodology in any form without written authorization from CEIF is prohibited.
- Presenting it as one's own, derived, or adapted without a formal institutional agreement is prohibited.
- Reproducing STRIKE tools, templates, or operational guides in other materials without permission is prohibited.

4. Design, brand, and visual elements
CEIF's logo, brand design, color palette, institutional typography, and other visual identity elements are the exclusive property of CEIF. Their reproduction, modification, or use without written authorization is prohibited, except in journalistic or academic contexts that cite CEIF as a source.
5. Images
Some visual content on CEIF's website and documents was created using AI image generation tools. These images are synthetic in nature: they do not represent real people, places, or events. CEIF uses them for strictly illustrative purposes.
Photographs taken by the CEIF team are the property of CEIF. Individuals appearing in them have given their consent for publication. Editorial use with credit "© CEIF — Centro de Estudios de Impacto Futuro" is permitted. Commercial reproduction without authorization is prohibited.
6. Third-party content
CEIF's website may include content produced by third parties, such as institutional partners, guest authors, or cited sources. In those cases, rights belong to their respective holders and are cited with appropriate attribution. CEIF assumes no responsibility for the content of external websites linked from its pages.
7. Authorization requests and contact
To request use authorizations, institutional licenses, reproduction permissions, or clarifications about intellectual property, write to contacto@ceif.pe with the subject line: "Intellectual Property Request". CEIF will respond within a maximum of 15 business days.
8. Applicable law
This policy is governed by Peruvian Legislative Decree 822, the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works, and the Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS). Users in the European Union may additionally invoke their rights under Directive 2019/790/EU on copyright in the Digital Single Market.
