Who we are

We don't just analyze the future. We use it to design what comes next.

Most organizations make decisions based on the present. CEIF works with those who need to make decisions whose consequences will be felt in five, ten, or twenty years.

We are an applied think tank: we combine strategic research, executive training, and project development within a single structure. We don't produce reports that collect dust. We produce analysis that becomes concrete action.

Our methodological framework, STRIKE, integrates six phases from system understanding to execution. It is the backbone of everything we do.

Based in Lima, regional in scope. Foresight has no fixed address, but it does have a distinct perspective.

Research Agenda

2026

Bioeconomy

How biodiversity-rich countries can position themselves in the global economy. The EU has binding strategies for 2030; Latin America is still defining its place on this new map.

Geopolitics and the multipolar order

The fragmentation of the global order creates concrete opportunities and risks for the region. Organizations without a framework for reading it make decisions without direction.

Water governance in South America

Water will be a critical variable for the region's food, energy, and territorial security. The agenda explores tensions, governance, and cooperation scenarios.

Peru 2035

A foresight exercise on the scenarios that could shape the country's institutional, productive, and social development over the next decade.

Methodology

Foresight is not a tool. It is our foundation.

STRIKE is CEIF's methodological architecture. Six phases that take an organization from understanding the system it operates in to executing initiatives that hold up across multiple possible futures. We don't design strategies for the most likely future. We design strategies that withstand many futures.

S
Scope the System

Defines system boundaries: key actors, variables, and the time horizon of the analysis.

T
Track Trends & Signals

Identifies structural trends and weak signals that could reshape the system.

R
Reframe the Challenge

Deconstructs the problem to its deepest layers before designing scenarios.

I
Imagine Future Scenarios

Builds plausible futures from the critical uncertainties identified in prior phases.

K
Knowledge Challenge

Subjects conclusions to deliberate refutation. Dissent is a methodological obligation.

E
Execute & Evolve

Translates validated scenarios into strategic initiatives and adaptive monitoring mechanisms.

Frequently asked questions

Organizations that thrive don't predict the future. They learn to act well across multiple possible futures.

CEIF — Center for Future Impact Studies

CEIF is an applied think tank specialized in strategic foresight. That means we use rigorous methodologies to analyze trends, build future scenarios, and translate that analysis into concrete initiatives. We are neither a traditional consultancy nor a purely academic center: we combine research, training, and execution within a single structure.
